the equinox

Tim and I went to The Equinox in Manchester, Vermont, several years ago to visit The British School of Falconry. I enjoyed watching the master falconer work with the Harris’s Hawks in the field beyond the mews. Later in the afternoon we went hunting with the falconer and several Harris’s Hawks and although we didn’t kick up much game, it was interesting to see the hawks fly from tree to tree. Harris’s Hawks are the only hawk to engage in cooperative hunting.
